healthcast
Through Design for America UC, an interdisciplinary design studio that tackles complicated problems with design solutions, I worked with a team of four students and three professional engineers from a startup to develop a concept for an app that would track personal and community level health data. The founders of the startup, Healthcast, wanted a friendly way to aggregate the data regionally so users were able to monitor symptoms in their area and make informed health decisions in an approachable way.
Many different research methods contributed to our understanding of how this app should look and feel. From what we gathered, we developed a brand identity, some potential users, and initial wire frames.
In collaboration with Alex Lohmann, Codie Chang, and Emily Buck.
