Thinking with Type
The goal of this project was to learn how to organize typography on a page in a meaningful and creative way. The book I chose for my project was Thinking with Type, by Ellen Lupton.
I faced the challenge of integrating typography, imagery, and color into one project to make a sophisticated book layout that represented the principles that were talked about in the text. I thought about legibility of the composition while also considering experimenting with typography through mixed serif and san serif faces, color, and grid.
